Corn bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter

Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, soda and sour milk. Mix and add melted butter, bake in hot oven 400° for 20 minutes.

NOTE: Buttermilk can be substituted for sour milk.
