French Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 20 finely chopped apples
- Topping
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- coconut or chopped nuts
Blend all ingredients. Pour into pan. Sprinkle topping over cake batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
